This brand, Eighty Eight Outfitters, encompasses the values that speak to me: faith, family, and outdoors and provide products that bring meaning and significance in each piece with a standard of quality to back it up. We've gotten sweatshirts, t-shirts, and hats and each has washed, dried, and worn well and generally generates a compliment from a stranger! Looking forward to future releases!

I met the legacy of this brand, Wes, at some point in my high school years. If I had to describe him in one single word, it would be "personal", and that's how I feel every time I put on one of my Eighty Eight Outfitter pieces. It's so much more than throwing on a hat to cover your unwashed hair (LOL) or putting on a shirt and running out the door. These QUALITY pieces make me pause every time I grab them. They force me to slow down. They make me realize that life is short and beautiful, and God is good and faithful. If I look down and see the infamous Wesley duck on my shirt or pass a mirror and catch a glimpse of my Eighty Eight hat that I put on to attempt to hide myself from the public, I'm reminded to be more like him. Don't hide, show up and show up big and loud and unapologetically YOU. I'm reminded to shine God's light, to be a friend to everyone I cross paths with (and talk their heads off :), and to leave the world a better place than it was before.
How we got our name
Eighty Eight Outfitters was named in honor of Wesley, whose high school football number was 88—a number he never let those closest to him forget. Wesley often connected numbers to biblical meanings, and after his passing, it became clear that 88 held a deeper significance and Olivia learned that numbers repeating in sequence represented angel numbers. In biblical symbolism, 88 represents infinite love, an unbroken legacy, and new beginnings. It serves as a divine reminder that his impact continues and that his legacy will live on, guiding us toward hope, renewal, and faith in God's eternal plan.
